Merson said in his column on Sportkeeda that Liverpool’s decision to let the Senegal international leave the club was a huge mistake. Considering that they still haven’t won any of their first two matches of the season.
“I’ve talked about this before. And to say it again, Sadio Mane was a terrible mistake for Liverpool, why would you sell him for only £30million while being able to keep him at least one more year and he can? It allows you to win every title again like you did in the Premier League last season.”
